BB Troubleshooting
Problem:
Appworld disappeared or keeps disappearing.

Possible Solution:
If you install an app in Appworld, make sure to uninstall or delete it from Appworld as well, not from Options > Applications. If Appworld disappears you can just reinstall it.
Problem:
Blackberry Theme Studio freezes or takes extremely long to open certain .thm files.

Possible Solution:
Apparently Theme Studio has a bug where "Save As" corrupts your theme files... Sucks. You have a couple options:
-The theme will probably still open, it will just take a really long time (30 minutes, upwards of hours in some cases).
-Recreate the theme and don't use "Save As" anymore ("Save" is fine). Instead, make physical copy of the .thm file and rename it if you want to use it for another theme.
Problem:
Calendar events aren't showing up on my Today theme screen.

Possible Solution:
Calendar events are always associated with a particular email address. You might have the wrong email address set as your default Calendar email address.
You have 2 options:
1) Get CalendarSync (PAID). This app auto syncs all your individual email account calendars into one so that they all display on your today screen.

2) Options > Advanced Options > Default Services > Calendar (CICAL). Try changing it to a different email address and see if they display.
Problem:
My Tour lags for a few seconds fairly often.

Possible Solution:
Upgrade to OS5. OS5 tends to run much smoother than 4.7.1.
Problem:
Browser fonts are very small on my 8530

Possible Solution:
Update to the 5.0.0.459 Sprint release (delete the vendor.xml first if you have a non-Sprint phone). This should fix the font sizes.
Problem:
How can I improve camera picture quality on the Tour?

Possible Solution:
A lot of users are reporting better picture quality by turning OFF image stabilization in the camera options. Image stabilization option may or may not be there depending on what OS you are running.
Problem:
How do I soft reset the device without removing the battery or using an app?

Possible Solution:
Alt + Right Shift + Del (has to be right shift button, not left). Device will pause for a bit, then reset.
Problem:
I'm having network or email issues (not receiving email, can't send BBM messages, browsing problems, etc).

Possible Solution:
Resend the service books. Mail Setup > Login > Menu > Service Books > Send Service Books
Another possibility is that you might have a temporary BB network outage.
Problem:
I lost BBM after an OS upgrade.

Possible Solution:
Re-download it from mobile.blackberry.com or Appworld.
Palm Pre/Pixi Troubleshooting
Problem:
I have poor battery life.

Possible Solution:
-Update to OS 1.3.5+
-If you are in an area with poor mobile network signal, use wifi. This can save battery if you are doing network intensive stuff and have poor network coverage. However if you transfer a lot of data over wifi, expect the battery drain anyways...
-Increase the interval at which your email is polling or try setting the retrieval to "As Items Arrive" (only available for some account types).
-Decrease the backlight fade timer.
-Decrease the backlight strength.
-Invest in chargers (car charge, Touchstone, etc) or extended batteries. I went with the Seidio 2600mah battery.
-Avoid using instant messaging clients where possible, they are a large battery drain.
-Close cards that you don't need running.
Problem:
How do I install homebrew apps?

Possible Solution:
Enabled Developer Mode on your pre by typing "upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart" on the today screen.

Then select the developer mode icon and enable it (requires a restart).
You have 3 options:

-Install preWare, allows you to browse homebrew apps, themes and webOs patches. Highly recommended. You can disable developer mode after installing this.
-Install fileCoaster, allows you to browse homebrew apps and themes and then install them. You can disable developer mode after installing this.
-Use webOs Quick Install to install .ipk files from your desktop (must be in developer mode to use this).

As a precaution always uninstall any custom themes or webOs patches before updating webOs.
Problem:
How do I sync the Pre with Outlook?

Possible Solution:
-Need Outlook 2003 or later.
-Both the Pre and the PC have to be on the same wifi network (this doesn't work over USB cable)
-Install Chapura Sync Manager to the PC
-Install PocketMirror to the Pre (get from the App Store)
-Create your chapura account on the desktop component
-Enter the same information in PocketMirror on the Pre
Now it should be able to sync the contacts, calendar, etc.
Problem:
How do view SMS/chat or Emails in landscape view?

Possible Solution:
A patch is available for both. Refer above to installing Preware and browse the patches and install from there.
Problem:
How do I access the device memory of the Pre on my PC and copy files?

Possible Solution:
Plug the device in via USB, select USB drive mode on the Pre.
Then you can just copy files over.
Make sure to safely unmount the USB drive in windows before disconnecting the Pre.
